Whether you are flying solo or testing out WayBetter while using other tools and techniques, our science-backed motivation boosters are designed to increase your personal accountability and up the enjoyment factor.
Where do I start on Day 1?
Welcome to your 7-day free trial! Get started by completing Level 1 of My Plan and joining your first game.
To access your plan, tap the “My Plan” button in the lower-left corner of the app. Complete the prompts for Level 1, and you will earn chips to kick off your journey into games.
You can join a game from the suggested games on Level 2 of your My Plan page, or tap Explore to view all options in our three game categories: Fitness, Nutrition, and Mindset. We have games starting multiple days per week, so it’s easy to start walking, up your water intake, or laser focus on nutrition right away.

If you picked a game launching in a few days, you can go back to the “My Plan” page and explore your meal plan, review other game options to stack your lifestyle changes, and take a look at the rules for any competitions you join.
Our games are fun challenges and easy to follow, but some do require tracking devices and syncing to win. For these, getting everything ready to go before Day 1 of the game helps avoid headaches later, so double-check your game page for the details.
