To record your timelapse video, start by opening the game and tapping Complete activity. On the next screen, you’ll see a button to Add your video. It will open your phone’s camera and you can start recording from there.
When you hit the record button, you’ll see a 3 second countdown. 3 - 2 - 1. . . begin! Keep recording through your whole workout, even if you have several sets. When you’ve completed your entire activity, you can stop recording.
On the next screen, you’ll have the option to preview the video. To re-record, hit Replace video in the upper right corner. To submit your video, hit Continue. Answer the optional question on the next screen if you’d like, then hit Submit. Even if you don’t feel like writing a response to the question, don’t forget to submit!
If you’ve followed this process to record your timelapse and are having trouble submitting, here are a few things to check:
Does your phone have enough memory?
You’ll need at least 100MB of free disk space to record a timelapse.
How is your wifi or cell signal?
Videos take a lot of bandwidth to send, so if you’re in an area with poor reception, it may not go through.
Are you fully charged?
Phones with a low battery struggle with timelapse videos. Give it some juice before you begin!
