The minimum pace varies by activity and will be listed in the game details. We offer games with different levels of difficulty, so it’s a good idea to double check the game’s pace before signing up. You can find these requirements on the Game details page in the app.
For tracker connected cardio games, most have a minimum heart rate of 110 beats per minute. This is your average heart rate.
For walking games, the minimum pace is usually 25 minutes per mile or 15.5 minutes per kilometer.
For beginner friendly running games, the minimum pace is usually 18 minutes per mile or 11.18 minutes per kilometer. More advanced running games may have a faster minimum pace, such as 15 minutes per mile or 9.3 minutes per kilometer.
Running and walking minimums are based on your average pace over the entire workout. That means one slow mile won’t disqualify your walk or run as long as your average is still faster than the minimum.
If you hit a long stoplight or need to use the restroom mid run, do not pause your fitness tracker. This can interfere with your average pace. Also, make sure the auto-pause feature is turned off before you begin. This is usually in your tracker’s Run Settings.
