Everyone can win in WayBetter games! There are no “best” or “fastest” awards here. Each game has specific requirements for winning that are the same for all players. For example, a game may require that players walk for at least 30 min on 4 days per week for 2 weeks. All players who complete all of the required activities and send us their approved verifications (“proof”) on time are winners!
To verify activities in our games we use a variety of methods including submissions of photos, videos, and syncing with trackers (e.g., step trackers). The verification method is described in the game’s instructions which you can see before you join.
If you miss a required activity (e.g., you only exercised 3 times in the first week), you won’t be eligible to “win” but in the spirit of using our games to make friends and to promote healthy habits, we encourage you to continue playing along, exercising, and submitting your proof.
If you don’t win the game, you aren’t a loser. You’re a runner-up. Just playing in the game and committing to be better is something to be extremely proud of, whether you’re a winner or not! And you'll be that much more prepped to win your next game!
